THE GRANT DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

If you have reviewed the 'organizational readiness' questions and are ready to begin the grant development process with M. Becker Company, here is a description of what that process typically looks like:

1. Contact M. Becker Co. by e-mail (mb@grantwriter-us.com) or phone: (860) 322-0060 or (212) 942-4851
2. Discuss your specific needs with us to reaffirm that it makes sense to move forward.
3. We will provide a contract and a time/fee estimate, and will submit an invoice for half the project fee to be paid in advance, with the balance to be paid upon project completion.
4. Get started; pay the invoice, and sign and return the contract.
5. We will create a project schedule that includes a checklist of needed information and milestone dates.
6. We will conduct research and prepare the proposal, and will facilitate any gathering of internal information needed from your organization for the proposal and budget.
7. You submit the final proposal. In some cases, you may want to request that an M. Becker Co. associate complete online submissions (through the internet). Please discuss this in advance.
