SERVICES AND FEES
Services are available on either a project or retainer basis. The following is a standard fee structure for typical services. However, based on your specific needs, we work with you to customize a fee schedule, if applicable. Our billing rate is $45.00 per hour.
Grant Funding Research
We review your project or program and then research and develop a list of potential funding resources that match your needs. You can set a "not-to-exceed" amount to work with your existing budget.
Grant Proposal Development
Our company will compose letters of inquiry, write and develop grants. These services include needs assessments, and brainstorming workable solutions, as well as cultivating goals and objectives. We draft an evaluation plan, if applicable, suggest suitable letters of support from stakeholders in your community, prepare documents for submission, proof read, secure all necessary signatures from your organization, and submit to the funding source. Fees for most grant writing assignments range from $2,500. - $7,500. depending on the complexity of the proposal and the amount of advance time given to complete the project.
Grant Proposal Review, Editing and Technical Assistance
If your organization has already completed a proposal and would like to have it evaluated prior to submission to the funding source, we can help. We review it, proofread it, ensure that it matches the Request for Proposal and funding guidelines, identify weaknesses and make suggestions. Fees for editing proposals,that your organization has prepared, and technical assistance is available on an hourly basis and is based on the number of hours it takes to complete the project.
Retainer / Service Contracts
As an added value to you, if you desire to reduce expenses associated with hiring full time employees for these services, you may retain M. Becker Company. Fees range from $1,500.- $3,000. per month with a six-month minimum.
OTHER SERVICES
Site Visits
For your convenience and consulting support, on-site visits are available upon request at a day rate of $500 plus travel expenses. All other administrative and operational costs are included in the fee structure.
Grants Administration
Most foundations or government agencies require progress and/or follow-up reports on the status of the projects or programs for which they have provided funds. If requested we will provide these services at the standard hourly rate.
Getting Started
Following our initial consultation (either by phone or in person) we will prepare and submit a contract for your review and approval. Our work commences upon receipt of the signed contract accompanied by a deposit.
We do not work for a contingency fee, a commission or for a percentage of the grant.
